Role OverviewThe Transportation Coordinator will develop and administer inbound freight management and backhaul programs to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of freight while maximizing logistics income and transportation efficiencies. This role will collaborate closely with Purchasing, Transportation, Operations, and Accounting teams to optimize freight spend, identify backhaul opportunities, negotiate carrier rates, manage freight billing and documentation, and support key performance metrics across the supply chain.
What You Will Do
Manage inbound freight and backhaul programs, develop and maintain tracking tools and reporting, partner with Purchasing, Operations, and Transportation teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure loads are scheduled, booked, and delivered according to plan.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of supply chain, transportation, logistics, or related experience
- Understanding of freight expense management, earned income programs, and carrier/vendor relationships
- Experience reviewing or processing invoices, transportation settlements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or freight-related billing
- Experience maintaining supporting documentation and resolving billing or invoice discrepancies
