Transportation Coordinator-Driver

The Transportation Coordinator-Driver oversees transportation operations, ensuring safe and efficient service for residents. This role involves supervising staff, managing administrative functions, and collaborating with other departments.

Responsibilities include supervising transportation staff, ensuring drivers are properly trained, overseeing vehicle operations, and managing administrative tasks such as scheduling and record-keeping.

Requirements

• Valid MA or NH driver's license, CDL preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 25 years of age with at least 3 years' driving experience, with an acceptable driving record.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.
• Ability to successfully pass background screening processes.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English is required.
• Excellent technological skills and ability to work with Microsoft Suite.
• Desire to work with the elderly is required.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.
• Must have an outgoing personality and be able to relate well with others.
• You must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to complete CPR/First Aid training within a probationary period.
• Ability to safely perform a range of physical activity associated with transportation operations, including walking, standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, and climbing; using hands and arms to grasp or reach; and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
