Role OverviewJoin the Advance Transportation Planning and Development team as a Transportation Design Engineer I or II. You'll design, manage, and coordinate schematic and PS&E for mobility projects throughout the eight-county district. Work involves developing and overseeing roadway design projects from initial scoping & design stage to letting and bidding process.
What You Will Do
Develop and oversee roadway design projects, perform engineering design work, prepare and evaluate contracts, review and process project design plans, and serve as liaison with MPOs and the public.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related science bachelor's or higher degree accepted by TX PELS
- 4 years engineering, transportation engineering, or related engineering experience for Transportation Engineer I
- 5 years engineering, transportation engineering, or related engineering experience for Transportation Engineer II
- Valid driver's license
- Licensed Prof Engineer
