Job Description
Perform highway lighting reviews, evaluate railroad crossing preemption treatments, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Highway Lighting, Signal Design, and Preemption. Assist with ongoing updates to standards and provide technical support to districts.

Requirements

  • Valid certificate as Engineer-In-Training issued or accepted as equivalent by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors;
  • 12 mos. exp. as Transportation Engineer 1, 85641
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering;
  • Valid certificate as Engineer-In-Training issued or accepted as equivalent by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors;
  • 2 yrs. engineering related experience
