Role OverviewThe ODOT District 12 Capital Programs Department is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to oversee and administer multiple construction projects of varying complexity. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and the ODOT Construction and Materials Specifications. They will work closely with Design and Maintenance Departments to address issues and future project considerations.
What You Will Do
The Transportation Engineer 3 - Construction Engineer will oversee and administer multiple construction projects, perform constructability plan reviews, process change orders and estimates, and utilize multiple computer software programs to manage construction projects.

Requirements
- Licensed as registered professional engineer by Ohio State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors
- 12 mos. exp. as group or project leader providing work direction & training to engineering technicians &/or lower-level engineers
- Valid driver's license
