Role Overview

The Materials and Tests Division delivers statewide service and technical expertise in materials quality and technology to support the Texas transportation system. We are seeking Transportation Engineers to join our state-of-the-art laboratory and work alongside industry-leading experts.

What You Will Do

Transportation Engineers will perform advanced and complex transportation engineering work in one or more functional areas such as planning, project development and design, construction, transportation/traffic operations and/or maintenance.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a strong background in transportation engineering, with experience in research and analysis methodologies, public relations, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related science, and 6-7 years of experience in transportation engineering.
