Role Overview

The Information Technology Division at The Texas Department of Transportation is seeking a transportation engineer that can provide expertise in training and user support for all civil engineering disciplines, including bridge, roadway design, construction, maintenance, and traffic technology for engineering applications and software.

What You Will Do

Provides roadway, bridge, traffic, construction, maintenance or related civil engineering support for districts and divisions, reviews and recommends engineering applications and software, serves as a primary help desk resource for highly complex and advanced technical and policy issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related science bachelor's or higher degree accepted by TX PELS
  • 8 years engineering, transportation engineering, or related engineering experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Licensed Prof Engineer
