Role OverviewAs a civil engineering transportation director, you'll oversee the planning, design, and maintenance of a public or private organization's transportation infrastructure programs, such as roads, bridges, and transit systems. You'll manage staff and budgets, develop capital improvement plans, ensure projects meet standards, collaborate with stakeholders, and handle business development and client relations.
What You Will Do
Direct a team of engineers and technical staff, conducting performance evaluations, and managing budgets and departmental operations. Develop and implement long-term plans for transportation systems, including capital improvement plans. Oversee the design and delivery of complex transportation projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum Fifteen years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
