Role OverviewWe are looking for a Transportation Maint Crew Chief to lead a team dedicated to maintaining the state's roadways. The successful candidate will have 5 years of experience in roadway maintenance related work and a valid driver's license. The role requires extensive knowledge of methods, procedures, equipment, and materials used in intermodal transportation engineering construction and maintenance work.
What You Will Do
The Transportation Maint Crew Chief will assist during accidents and emergency weather situations, inspect roads, maintain records, monitor materials testing, and oversee contract workers. The role requires operating light and heavy equipment, performing calculations, and leading, assigning, reviewing, and monitoring the work of others.

Requirements
- High School Grad or Equivalent in general education
- 5 years experience in roadway maintenance related work
- Valid driver's license
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Extensive knowledge of methods, procedures, equipment, and materials used in intermodal transportation engineering construction and maintenance work
