Job Description
The State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation (DOT) invites qualified agency employees to apply for the position of Transportation Maintainer 3 (Payloader Operator) in the Occum Maintenance facility, Norwich, CT. The Maintainer position is a key operational role responsible for ensuring safe and efficient highway operations.

Requirements

  • Current and valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tank endorsement
  • Willingness to accept assignment to emergency duties, including snow and ice removal
  • 20-mile residency from the posted job location
  • Bachelor's degree or vocational or technical school diploma in one of the maintenance trades
