Job Description
This role involves performing a variety of highly skilled tasks in the construction, maintenance, and repair of state roadways, roadsides, bridges, airports, and other departmental facilities, operating and maintaining highly complex mechanical equipment, and serving as a trainer.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience in the construction, landscaping, commercial driving, snow plowing, maintenance, and repair of roadways, roadsides, bridges, or airports
  • One (1) year of experience in the operation of complex equipment or the performance of skilled tasks
  • Graduation from a vocational or technical school with a diploma designating completion of the subject requirements in one of the maintenance trades
