Role OverviewPerform routine transportation operations and maintenance support work, such as roadway maintenance and repair, light and heavy equipment operation, and traffic control. Work requires contact with private entities. Employees at this level follow standard practices that do not require frequent supervision of details.
What You Will Do
Assist in identifying, repairing, and installing signs, delineators, mailbox supports, and posts. Perform basic welding as needed. Assist in providing support to local law enforcement officials at accident sites and assist stranded motorists. Assist with traffic control, place and gather cones, warning signs, and barricades, and flag traffic.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Commercial Class 'A' Driver's License with an 'N' Endorsement
- No education required
- 1 year experience in transportation engineering support, roadway maintenance, construction inspection, heavy equipment operation, or related work experience
