Role OverviewThe Transportation Maintenance Tech I/II/III performs routine transportation operations or maintenance support work such as roadway maintenance and repair, light and heavy equipment operation, and traffic control. Employees at this level follow standard practices that do not require frequent supervision of details. The role requires contact with private entities and involves working in various weather conditions.
What You Will Do
The Transportation Maintenance Tech I/II/III will perform tasks such as identifying, repairing, and installing signs, delineators, and mailbox supports; operating heavy equipment such as cranes and bulldozers; and performing preventive maintenance inspections on equipment.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Commercial Class 'A' Driver's License with an 'N' Endorsement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time and frequently lift or carry objects up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to wear protective gear, including a respirator, hard hat, steel-toed boots, and other equipment or devices
