Role OverviewThe Transportation Maintenance Tech I/II/III will perform routine transportation operations or maintenance support work such as roadway maintenance and repair, light and heavy equipment operation, preventive and minor maintenance on equipment, traffic control, and helping the public during emergency situations. Employees at this level follow standard practices that do not require frequent supervision of details.
What You Will Do
The Transportation Maintenance Tech I/II/III will assist in identifying, repairing, and installing signs, delineators, mailbox supports, and posts; perform basic welding as needed; assist in providing support to local law enforcement officials at accident sites; assist stranded motorists as required; and perform other job responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Commercial Class 'A' Driver's License with an 'N' Endorsement
- No education required
- No experience required for TMT I
- 1 year experience for TMT II
- 2 years' experience for TMT III
