Role OverviewThe Transportation Maintenance Technician I/II will perform routine transportation operations or maintenance support work such as roadway maintenance and repair, light and heavy equipment operation, traffic control, and helping the public during emergency situations. The role requires contact with private entities and employees at this level follow standard practices that do not require frequent supervision of details.
What You Will Do
The Transportation Maintenance Technician I/II will assist in providing support to local law enforcement officials at accident sites, assist stranded motorists, maintain highways and rights-of-way, perform roadway repairs, and operate complex heavy equipment such as motor graders and front-end loaders.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license at the time of application
- Mandatory: Safety Impact Certificate
- Mandatory: Commercial Driver Certificate
- Must have a Commercial Class 'A' Driver's License with an 'N' Endorsement or have obtained a CDL 'A' License within 120 calendar days from date of employment
