Role OverviewThe Harris County Night Crew is seeking independent and capable crew members to staff the Harris County Night Crew. Crew members will respond to overnight emergencies throughout the county, working to keep roadways safe and open for the traveling public.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include identifying, repairing, and installing signs, delineators, mailbox supports, and posts; performing basic welding as needed; assisting in providing support to local law enforcement officials at accident sites; and operating light and heavy equipment.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Commercial Class 'A' Driver's License with an 'N' Endorsement
- No education required
- 1 year experience in transportation engineering support, roadway maintenance, construction inspection, heavy equipment operation, or related work experience
- 2 years experience in transportation engineering support, roadway maintenance, construction inspection, heavy equipment operation, or related work experience
