Transportation Manager

Torrid's Transportation Manager leads U.S. inbound and outbound transportation operations, overseeing product movement from domestic and international vendors through the distribution center to stores and eCommerce customers. This role optimizes service, cost, capacity, and carrier performance while ensuring shipments meet business needs and SLAs. The position partners cross-functionally with Distribution, Stores, Finance, Procurement, Merchandising, and Compliance teams.

What You Will Do

Manage day-to-day outbound transportation operations, develop key metrics and reporting, and identify operational risks and improvement opportunities. Plan and execute transportation programs for eCommerce and Retail, manage carrier relationships and contracts, and partner with the Director of Logistics and DC leadership to optimize operations. Lead, coach, and develop direct reports through training and feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5–7+ years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
• Demonstrated experience supporting retail and eCommerce fulfillment operations
• Proven experience managing large-scale parcel networks, carrier relationships, and transportation contracts
• Strong experience conducting cost-benefit analysis and identifying opportunities to improve service and reduce transportation costs
