Role OverviewThe Transportation Operations Technician II is responsible for various tasks related to highway maintenance, such as repairing guardrails, cutting trees/brush, patching roads, picking litter, ditching, and more. In the winter months, this position will also assist with plowing and salting, and overtime may be required. Additionally, this position may assist in vehicle and equipment maintenance.

Requirements
- One (1) year of work experience in construction, equipment operation, or related manual labor
- Possession of a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement within the first six months of employment
- Ability to withstand exposure to extreme outdoor weather
- Ability to use tools and lift materials commonly used in maintenance work
- Ability to work overtime, particularly during the winter months
