Role OverviewThe Transportation Planner Specialist II is responsible for driving tasks to completion and mentoring junior staff. This role requires a heightened level of autonomy and strong business acumen. The Transportation Planner Specialist II will work closely with Clinical Supply Planning, Master Planning, Clinical Operations, Logistics, Trade Compliance, and external partners to support initiatives and projects as a functional area expert (SME) for transportation processes.
What You Will Do
Drive tasks to completion amidst ambiguity, mentor junior staff, collaborate across functions to achieve business objectives, engage in problem-solving and analytical thinking to address challenges as they arise, manage transportation from origin to destination, track and trace shipments, monitor carrier performance, and develop and maintain routing strategies.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a science or business function or equivalent experience
- 2-3+ Years related industry experience in Clinical Trials or Pharmacy (preferred)
- 2-3+ Years related experience in Clinical Supplies
- Ability to demonstrate good project management skills
- Ability to create effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to demonstrate effective communication and direction
- Ability to problem solve
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
- Proficient in the English language
