Transportation Project Manager

Lochner is recruiting for a Transportation Project Manager in Kansas City, KS. The role involves managing design projects for KDOT, KTA, and other municipal clients. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience on transportation projects, with experience managing KDOT or other municipal projects a plus.

What You Will Do

Direct and/or perform engineering calculations, direct and/or develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates. Responsible for client development, project budgets, goal setting, determining scope of work, estimating fees, and preparing proposals and contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
• 8+ years of experience on transportation projects
• Experience managing KDOT or other municipal projects
• Professional License in KS or ability to obtain an KS PE within 6 months of hire
• Experience in design software, MicroStation, and Open Roads designer
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
