Role OverviewThe MO/KS DOT Team Lead will manage a team delivering projects for MoDOT, KDOT, and KTA, building relationships with clients, identifying pursuits, and developing win strategies. The ideal candidate will have previous leading roles performing concept/feasibility studies and have an ability to mentor and oversee design tasks.
What You Will Do
The primary duties of the MO/KS DOT Team Lead include providing Project Manager responsibilities, pursuing and delivering transportation projects for MoDOT, KDOT, and KTA, and coordinating multi-discipline projects.

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in geometric design and traffic design
- Experience with supervising the work of a project team as a Project Manager or assistant project manager
- Marketing and project pursuit experience
- Experience using Microstation, Geopak, and/or Inroads design software in version SS2, SS4, and/or CONNECT
- Experience with KDOT and/or MoDOT
- Document control experience (ProjectWise a plus)
- Experienced in managing and delivering highway projects in the MO/KS Area required
- Project Management experience with an understanding of PULSE and Staffing Tool
- PE or equivalent licensure preferred
- Transportation-related project experience preferred
- Excellent marketing experience preferred
- Prior consulting experience preferred
- Local candidates are preferred
