Role OverviewReviews and designs simple plans for proposed highway construction projects/improvements, and provides technical support to engineers, designers, and utility personnel. Uses CADD software to assist with detailed drawings of roadway plans. Coordinates and requests field work as necessary, and participates in pre-construction and post-construction meetings.
What You Will Do
Makes calculations, researches records, checks calculations by others, and reviews roadway plans and right of way plans for conformance. Performs other related duties.

Requirements
- 4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in engineering related technical experience in construction/rehabilitation/maintenance projects or planning & design of civil engineering projects or materials testing
- Or completion of associate degree program in engineering technology; 2 yrs. engineering related technical experience in construction/rehabilitation/maintenance or planning & design of civil engineering projects or materials testing
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment
