Job Description
This is a Transportation Technician 1 position at the State of Ohio, District 3 HQ. The successful candidate will scope culvert and drainage projects, conduct project field reviews, and create preliminary cost estimates and project schedules. They will also oversee annual tree cutting contracts and program projects in Ellis, ODOT's project management software.

Requirements

  • 5 years of engineering-related technical experience in simple construction/rehabilitation/maintenance projects or planning & design of simple civil engineering projects or materials testing
  • Associate degree in engineering technology
  • 12 months of experience as Transportation Technical Specialist
  • Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment
