Job Description
The Heavy Duty Tire Technician is responsible for performing inspection, repair, and replacement of tires on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, buses, and commercial fleets. This role requires ensuring that tires are properly balanced, mounted, and inflated while maintaining a high standard of safety and service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Certification in heavy-duty tire repair or related fields is a plus.
  • Previous experience with heavy-duty tire repair is essential.
  • Familiarity with tire safety standards and tire mounting equipment.
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty tire repair.
  • CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred.
  • Experience working in fleet service environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of advanced tire repair techniques, including retreading and complex repairs.
