Job Description
The Heavy Duty Tire Technician is responsible for performing inspection, repair, and replacement of tires on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, buses, and commercial fleets.

Requirements

  • Perform thorough inspections of tires on heavy-duty vehicles
  • Repair and replace tires, ensuring accurate balancing and mounting of large tires
  • Patch leaks, repair punctures, and verify tire inflation levels
  • Follow established safety standards and guidelines while working with heavy-duty equipment and tools
  • Document services provided, including tire condition and repairs, ensuring accurate service records
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols
  • Work with mounting equipment and assist in fleet tire management
  • Previous experience with heavy-duty tire repair is essential
  • Familiarity with tire safety standards and tire mounting equipment
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty tire repair
  • CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred
  • Experience working in fleet service environments is a plus
  • Knowledge of advanced tire repair techniques, including retreading and complex repairs

  • Compensation ranges from $37,440 to $66,560 per year, based on experience and availability
