Job Description
Only candidates with their own tire and wheel equipment for roadside or on-location services will be considered. Prior experience is required. The Heavy Duty Tire Technician is responsible for performing inspection, repair, and replacement of tires on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, buses, and commercial fleets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Certification in heavy-duty tire repair or related fields is a plus
  • Previous experience with heavy-duty tire repair is essential
  • Familiarity with tire safety standards and tire mounting equipment
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty tire repair
  • CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred
  • Experience working in fleet service environments is a plus
  • Knowledge of advanced tire repair techniques, including retreading and complex repairs
