Role OverviewWe are seeking a Traveling EHS Manager to oversee safety operations across Texas. The successful candidate will perform hazard assessments, incident investigations, and strategize with site leaders to prevent/reduce injuries. Ensuring environmental compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements is critical.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities include developing and maintaining compliance with regulations, collaborating with department leadership, executing industrial hygiene studies, inspecting facilities, and investigating industrial accidents.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of direct construction safety experience, a degree in engineering or a safety-related field, and OSHA 511 and/or 501 certification. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years direct construction safety experience
- 3 years of experience in the design, development, and operational oversight of EHS disciplines
- Degree in engineering and/or safety-related field
- OSHA 511 and/or 501 certification
- Knowledge of process safety management methods, pressure systems, and chemical delivery systems
- Experience with emergency response communication and incident management
- Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
