Job Description
Rycon Construction is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent at our Pittsburgh office. The Traveling Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating daily activities for subcontractors, managing construction budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ construction supervisory experience in new construction and/or renovation/fit-out disciplines
  • Project values of $5 million and up are desirable
  • Ability to travel and manage out-of-town work
  • Advanced knowledge of associated trades in all aspects of commercial construction
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts and specifications
  • Knowledge of safety regulations
  • Experience scheduling work, materials, manpower, subcontractors and equipment
  • Computer skills required – Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
