Role OverviewThe Treatment Advocate will observe client's daily activities and assist in their recovery. The role involves collaborating with the Treatment team and assisting with service coordination as needed for patients. The Treatment Advocate will also operate the company vehicle to transport clients and facility visitors.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include welcoming new patients, assisting with orientation, conducting patient belongings searches, completing safety rounds and security checks, participating in coordination of patient's daily schedule, and providing support and encouragement to patients.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate's or bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences preferred. The candidate should have a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record and a minimum of 1 year experience in a behavioral healthcare field. The Treatment Advocate will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a behavioral healthcare field
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences (social sciences, human services, counseling or psychology) preferred
- Working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
- Ability to read, write and interpret written information, type documentation, present information to groups and participate in meetings
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
