Role OverviewThe Treatment Plant Coordinator 2 (Water Treatment) works under general direction and requires advanced level knowledge of state and federal guidelines regarding water plant operations. The role serves as assistant to treatment plant operation manager and coordinates operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment used at water treatment plant.
What You Will Do
Coordinates operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, trains maintenance staff and/or operators, inspects facilities, troubleshoots and repairs equipment, reviews preventive maintenance programs, and instructs facility staff in chemical testing procedures and daily reporting preparation procedures.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a certificate of class at least equal to that required by water system or wastewater works classification, 12 months of experience as a treatment plant operator, and 6 months of training or experience in employee training and development.
Requirements
- Class II Water or Class II WasteWater License
- 12 mos. exp. as treatment plant operator in water &/or sewage treatment plant
- 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in employee training & development
- Valid drivers' license
