Job Description
Role Overview

The Trial Preparation Assistant will assist attorneys in all aspects of trials, including compiling and analyzing documents, preparing electronic and paper discovery, and communicating with witnesses. The role will report to the APU's Chief Prosecutor, Deputy Chief Prosecutor, and Supervising Trial Preparation Assistant. The CCRB is responsible for investigating, mediating, and prosecuting complaints against New York City police officers.

What You Will Do

The Trial Preparation Assistant will assist in gathering evidence, preparing trial exhibits and binders, attending disciplinary trials/hearings, and maintaining communication with the Police Department. The role will also involve handling mail, keeping attorney calendars, and delivering and picking up items from the New York City Police Department and other locations.
