Role Overview

The BXDA seeks a Trial Preparation Level II to assist the Civil Litigation Bureau's FOIL Unit in responding to requests made by the public pursuant to the Freedom of Information Law. The candidate will possess paralegal experience and assist in responding to FOIL requests, reviewing documents, and drafting FOIL determination letters.

What You Will Do

Specific duties include engaging in communications with parties making FOIL requests, locating closed criminal files, reviewing documents, drafting FOIL determination letters, and using computer programs to input data and maintain statistics.

Requirements
