Role Overview

The Office of the District Attorney, Bronx County, is seeking a Trial Preparation Level II in the Civil Litigation Bureau to assist with responding to Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests. The candidate will work under attorney supervision to review documents, draft FOIL determination letters, and maintain statistics for the FOIL Unit. The role requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently under deadlines.

Specific duties include engaging in communications with parties making FOIL requests, locating closed criminal files, reviewing documents, drafting FOIL determination letters, and maintaining statistics for the FOIL Unit.

Requirements

  • Excellent time management skills
