Role Overview

The role involves leading and supporting Tribal consultation efforts, conducting proactive engagement with Tribal Nations, and facilitating Tribal participation in cultural resource surveys. The position requires a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, cultural sensitivity, and consultation best practices.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include preparing consultation documentation, tracking communications, and providing guidance to project teams on Tribal concerns and cultural sensitivity. The role also involves identifying opportunities for early engagement strategies and assisting with the preparation of technical documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Architectural History or closely related field
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in cultural resource projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of and experience with project compliance-related activities including consultation, quality assurance and reviews
