Ensures routes/trips are covered/assigned, dispatches transportation vehicles, answers phone and two-way radio calls, and communicates with outside organizations. Maintains current knowledge of routes and school locations, reviews bus routes for efficiency, and verifies clock times and payroll for drivers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with Passenger (P) and School (S) endorsements
  • Entry level direct experience as a dispatcher in a transportation or related field
