Role Overview

We are seeking a TRIRIGA / Maximo Applications System Engineer to support an upcoming Department of Homeland Security (DHS) project focused on managing real property and logistics. The successful candidate will lead software development lifecycle (SDLC) projects, including performance analysis, design, development, and testing. They will also participate in application architecture decisions and lead performance tuning efforts.

What You Will Do

The TRIRIGA / Maximo Applications System Engineer will be responsible for full lifecycle development, maintenance and support, system integration and data migration, web services development, architecture and performance tuning, UI/UX and responsive design, database management, AutoCAD integration, stakeholder communication, and corporate contribution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of IT experience working as a senior developer or technology expert on large, complex business systems
  • Hands-on experience with IBM TRIRIGA or IBM Maximo
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle Database, Java/J2EE, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools
  • 5+ years of experience developing and managing complex government databases containing PII/SSI
  • Proven hands-on experience with relational database management system (RDBMS) design and development
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, Materialize)
  • Experience with asynchronous JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS or AngularJS)
  • Knowledge of asset bundlers (Webpack, Grunt, Gulp) and CSS preprocessors (Sass/SCSS)
  • Experience with Git for version control and containerization/environment tools (Docker, Vagrant, or Apache Mesos)
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS agency-specific Public Trust
