Role OverviewAs a Truck Driver at XPO, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triples, and providing excellent service to customers. You will work a flexible schedule, up to 12-14 hours a day, including day, night and weekend shifts. You will be required to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights, and safely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer.
What You Will Do
On a typical day, you will safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, load and unload freight, and provide excellent service to customers. You will also be responsible for generating sales leads and operating a forklift.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a safe driving record and history, a valid Class A commercial driver's license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. You will also be required to pass a DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license
- Safe driving record and history
- Currently possess or be willing to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employment
- Pass a DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years
- Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical
