Truck Driver job description: Safe and efficient transport and delivery of freight by operating tractor-trailer combinations, performing fueling tasks, and inspecting equipment for defects.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License
  • Must have previous tractor-trailer driving experience with 48' to 57' dry vans or 42' tanks
  • Must have the ability to read and write in English, and to perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
  • Must meet and maintain the medical standards of the U.S. Dept. of Transportation
