Job Description
We are currently offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus for Truck Driver new hires. Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer, is hiring a Truck Driver in Chesapeake, Virginia for 2nd Shift.

Requirements

  • CDL A licensure with proven tractor/trailer driving experience
  • Must have an excellent driving record.
  • Thorough knowledge of DOT and Company safety standards and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to load, unload, and secure cargo for transport
  • Must be able to meet delivery deadlines
  • Must be able to work overtime additional hours as needed
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
