Role OverviewRyder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Dubuque, IA, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. The driver will operate a well-maintained, safe truck, delivering freight to Chicago, with a local home daily route.
What You Will Do
The driver will ensure compliance with federal and state laws, detect and eliminate safety hazards, maintain accurate records and logs, load/unload freight, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Benefits
- Weekly pay of $1800 or more
- Solo miles pay: $0.65 per mile with 1900 miles per week average
- Solo stops pay: $25.00 per stop with 10 stops per week
- Sign on bonus: $2500 paid out 1/2 at 30 days, 1/2 at 90 days
