Role OverviewRyder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Gilberts, IL, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. The driver will deliver SOLO to WI, IL, MI, IN, OH, PA, KY, and TN, with a regional route and home weekends.
What You Will Do
The driver will ensure compliance with federal and state laws, detect and eliminate safety hazards, maintain accurate records and logs, load/unload freight, and perform other duties as assigned.

Ryder offers a weekly guarantee of $1500, solo miles pay of $0.60 per mile, solo stops pay of $25.25 per stop, and per diem pay of $51.50 per night. The driver will also receive paid training, a 401(k) rollover, and up to 80 hours of PTO accrued in the first year.
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
