Role OverviewThe Trucking Terminal Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant specific outbound freight, including a fleet of 20-25 dedicated trucks, hostling, personnel, and outside transportation supplier relationships. The Terminal Manager is also responsible for leading safe operations while delivering high service/quality and financial performance of the terminal.
What You Will Do
Strategically manage the terminal from a long-term perspective, develop competitive rates, and analyze operating reports and financial statements. Responsible for safety, financial performance, process improvement, housekeeping, and on-time delivery.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, transportation, or related field
- At least 5+ years' experience in the transportation industry or a related field, some of which in a people management role
- Knowledge of transportation operations and laws, federal safety regulations, and maintenance requirements
- Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Thorough knowledge of safe maintenance and DOT, OSHA, and other applicable federal and state regulations
- Experience with Fleet Management software including Samsara, TMT, and TMW dispatch systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work
- Able to work in a team environment and under time pressure
Benefits
- Starting salary range: $87,000 - $95,000 DOE
- Bonus: Annual – Based upon individual contribution and overall company performance
