Job Description
The Jefferson County Open Space is hiring Trail Stewardship Team Crew Leaders for a temporary role. The position involves supervising youth crews for trail maintenance and construction. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, from mid-March to July 30th. Compensation is $22-$23 USD hourly.

Requirements

  • Supervision of trail work performed by a crew of 8-12 youth aged 14-18 years old
  • Ensure safety policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to
  • Document attendance, payroll, and work completion reports of crew daily
  • Drive a 14-passenger van

Benefits

  • Sick leave accrual of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours
