Role OverviewThe Before/After-School Certified tutor is responsible for providing academic, social, physical, and skill development for students in specific grades/subject areas to prepare them for success. This role involves generating tutoring plans, assessing and documenting student progress, and reinforcing knowledge and skills taught by the classroom teacher.
What You Will Do
Develops and assists students with academic exercises and class activities, compiles and prepares materials and classroom for instruction, and provides instructional support and reinforcement to students identified in need of tutoring services.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's Degree, or two (2) years of college (minimum of 48 semester hours)
- Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment Test
- One (1) year of experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred)
- Certification in CPR and First Aid (must be able to obtain)
