Role OverviewThe Before/After-School Certified tutor is responsible for providing academic, social, physical, and skill development for students in specific grades/subject areas to prepare them to be successful citizens and workers. This role involves generating tutoring plans, assessing and documenting student progress, and reinforcing knowledge and skills taught by the classroom teacher.
What You Will Do
You will generate tutoring plans, develop and assist students with academic exercises, compile and prepare materials, reinforce knowledge and skills, assist with academic instruction, provide instructional support, and collect and compile statistical data.

To be a fit for this role, you should possess a graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's Degree, or two years of college, and have one year of experience working with children in an educational setting. You should also be able to obtain certification in CPR and First Aid.
