Role OverviewTutors will work with students during school and focus on specific objectives, providing additional practice, guidance, and one-on-one attention in the Road to and Through College classrooms. The role requires a minimum of 10-20 hours spent at school per week. Tutors will work with students in various subjects, including math, science, language arts, and humanities.

Responsibilities include effective facilitation and personal use of technology, implementing a clear and consistent behavior management system, helping shape and develop a school-wide culture, establishing a cooperative working relationship with students and families, and conducting tutorial sessions in various subjects.

Requirements
- Minimum of 48 hours of college credit with a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Two years of full-time instructional experience in a K-12 school may be substituted in lieu of the education requirement
- Ability to instruct students and manage student behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
- Knowledge of subject assigned
- Creative problem solving and team skills
