Job Description
TVC - Claims Benefit Advisor (Veterans Services Representative I) position to advise and assist veterans and eligible persons with Department of Veterans Affairs claims process, including interviewing, preparing and filing claims, and consulting with medical and legal staff.
Requirements
Interview veterans and family members to record and assess benefits information
Apply and interpret VA laws, including veterans' case law, existing statutes and procedures, precedent rulings, and state law in the benefit eligibility process
Prepare and file claims and appeals with supporting evidence for successful adjudication
