Job Description
The Staff Services Officer III serves as a vital member of the Claims Department of the Texas Veterans Commission. Performs routine staff services work, including human resource functions, travel coordination, and training of Regional Office Claims Service Representatives. The position requires an associate degree and three years of experience in clerical or administrative support work.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
  • Three (3) years' experience in clerical or administrative support work
  • Three (3) years' experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access databases and conducting internet research required
  • A valid Texas Driver's License must be provided within 90 days of hire
