Job Description
Join our renowned Neuro-Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus Divisions at the Stein Eye Institute in Westwood, where you’ll provide expert orthoptic care for both adults and children while playing a prominent role in education.

Requirements

  • Evaluation of vision and detection/monitoring of amblyopia in children and adults.
  • Assessment and non-surgical management of ocular motility and strabismus disorders using optical correction and orthoptic exercises.
  • Evaluation and treatment of binocular sensory function, including stereopsis.
  • Routine neuro-ophthalmic testing such as visual fields and OCT, along with taking preliminary histories and preparing patients for medical review in an extended role capacity.
  • Playing a prominent role in teaching, supervising orthoptic students, medical trainees, and fellows across multiple disciplines.
