Role OverviewThe Senior Safety Specialist supports the TOP UG Exploration Project and MSHA-regulated health and safety programs, working collaboratively across all departments to integrate safety into daily operations.
What You Will Do
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments, lead investigations of incidents and near-misses, develop and deliver safety training programs, and maintain safety documentation.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or suitable combination of experience and education
- 5+ years of experience working in Health and Safety, 3 years of experience in an MSHA regulated environment, Underground hardrock mining experience required
- Applied knowledge of relevant OSHA, MSHA, state and other regulatory requirements, as-well-as industry standards and practices
- MSHA Part 48 'blue card' certified trainer
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar experience
- Proven experience conducting investigations, hazard assessments, and safety training
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Capability to work in both office and field environments
- Experienced using MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams)
- Requires valid US driver's license
